LOCAL INFORMATION
By far the best sources of local information exist at http://www.waterfordtourism.ie, the Waterford Tourism website. The award-winning web-site of Waterford County Museum Society at http://www.dungarvanmuseum.com is an excellent historical and heritage guide to the area. The best way to find out what’s on is to access the local weekly newspapers. The main ones for the area are the Dungarvan Leader and the Dungarvan Observer. Waterford City also produces a number of weekly local papers. Ask in any local newsagents for copies. The main local radio station is WLRfm which broadcasts on 95.1fm in the County and 97.5fm in the City and can be accessed at http://www.wlrfm.com
